The sale of the Hôtel Pozzo di Borgo has ground to a standstill. Long the Paris home of German designer Karl Lagerfeld, the historic mansion, now owned by the central African state of Gabon, has garnered interest from luxury magnates, including Bernard Arnault. But interference from Gabon's creditors has hampered negotiations.
