Last week's announcement that Chanel had acquired the French high-end shirtmaker was accompanied by a PR blitz that stressed the two companies' intertwined histories. Less trumpeted was the fact that the deal extends to Charvet's building on luxury's favorite Paris address, Place Vendôme.
