The clash of the Billionaire clubs in Dubai

Situated at the foot of the Burj Khalifa, the world's highest tower, the ultra-luxurious Billionaire restaurant-cum-night club owned by the Formula One tycoon Flavio Briatore is set to relocate. The French investment firm Butler Industries is in talks to take over the premises and launch a top-flight venue of its own.

Communications giant Havas, a subsidiary of Vincent Bolloré's Vivendi group, is in charge of distributing LVMH's advertising budgets in the press and has control over its sponsorship spending in sport, particularly in Formula 1. This relationship reflects the long-standing proximity between LVMH boss Bernard Arnault and Bolloré, as well as ties between some of the two groups' top executives.
