LVMH lobbyists' frantic efforts in Brussels come to nought

Following the intervention in June of Alexandre Arnault, new number two at Moët Hennessy, LVMH lobbyists did their best to urge the EU to spare alcohol producers in its tariff negotiations with Donald Trump. Yet last month, despite numerous meetings, Brussels and Washington confirmed that US customs duties on alcohol would rise by 15%.
