Kering and LVMH vie for virtuousness, Chanel switches sides

LVMH and Kering are each trying to rally luxury players to subscribe to their corporate responsibility and sustainability schemes. Chanel, which signed up to Kering's Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030, has since switched allegiances to LVMH in the hope of influencing the auditing schedule for its supply chains.
