Since the BBC's September 2024 revelations that the Egyptian luxury mogul repeatedly abused women working for his companies, the department store Harrods, now in Qatari hands, has so far been the only one subject to legal complaints. Glitz can reveal that the Ritz Paris, the jewel in the crown of Al-Fayed's empire, has also been affected. Meanwhile, ex-employees of the family are also threatening lawsuits.
