Remanded in custody on the evening of 2 April over his management of the now shuttered Go Sport brand, the French businessman is in parallel fighting to retain control of Financière Immobilière Bordelaise, which manages his luxury hotels and is currently in receivership. One of his three hotels, the Sheraton Roissy, is involved in a series of disputes with labour unions, the tax authorities and the courts.
