How street thefts fuel second-hand watch market
Despite the considerable police resources deployed in many European countries to combat street robberies of watches in the continent's most visited shopping districts, these crimes still spike during the summer months. The situation is not helped by the reluctance of some owners to report thefts and by the ease of selling on stolen goods via second-hand platforms.
