Communications giant Havas, a subsidiary of Vincent Bolloré's Vivendi group, is in charge of distributing LVMH's advertising budgets in the press and has control over its sponsorship spending in sport, particularly in Formula 1. This relationship reflects the long-standing proximity between LVMH boss Bernard Arnault and Bolloré, as well as ties between some of the two groups' top executives.
