Luxury retail: Ferragamo's sentencing in Paris sends sector into panic

After a decade of administrative and tax investigations, Italian leather goods manufacturer Ferragamo was definitively ordered earlier this month to pay millions of euros in back taxes for "undue profit transfer" between its Faubourg St Honoré shop in central Paris and its Florence headquarters.
